Just wondering if there's a hood for the 180mm as well?

I do have a used hood in good condition with a very small scratch - I can include it for $20.

I believe there's a Hasselblad plastic hood marked "150 - 250" I have one in fact that I'll use on the 250, without gel filters, that'll serve the 180mm.

If it's ever been made in metal I do not know.

Things like this plus using gel filters and forward light baffles on the 250mm, etc is why in my two primary Hasselblad camera bags, I carry a regular Hasselblad bellows hood, (no folder yet) as plastic or metal hoods are oft forgotten and the fact that they do not support gel filters or screens.

I do carry and use both but each has its own application attributes and there is always a kitchen sink in the bag with a little room.

Just as most of us want a back up body, a back up lens, especially this one, makes good sense and in the long run keeps your Hasselblad system at full capacity for those times one or another needs a CLA, etc, break from duty.

If I were able, and younger, I'd certainly consider this great lens as a first back up optic, period.

That's about what I paid for mine, hopefully you move it. It's more than just a portrait lens by the way, it is a spectacular landscape lens, one I rarely leave home without.
