Hey all,

I recently purchased a hasselblad body, however, it only came with the screen(no frame). I didn't notice it at first, but when trying to focus the sucker, I noticed that infinity didn't register AT infinity on the lens distance scale on my 80mm...

So, I've ordered a replacement screen, however, I'm still kinda mystified as to which screen this one is:

I don't know about your Hasselblad, but a few of my cameras focus at infinity when the readout is just off infinity. I just go by what the screen shows me and it works perfectly.

that may be an aerial image screen---I actually want one of them but one that will fit in a 500 c/m or 501...theremovable style---maybe it was not adjusted right (for 500c) or in upside down?

this was off a 500c, right?

actually, it came with a 553ELX body I bought. I'd imagine its not the original screen, removed from its frame.

BTW, it came with a thin black metal frame(single piece), with double-pointed corners folded slightly outwards

I don't think it's an original screen either. All the Hasselblad screens I have seen have a metal frame around them, which in turn is placed into another metal frame that serves as a spacer.
