These days the rubber eyecups on the prism finders are deteriorating. Does anybody know of the availability of new ones or a suitable substitute? Thanks.

You will need to be specific about which prism you are talking about. They are probably still available.
I would presume they are pretty much the same thing on the various prism finders.

I called Hasselbald NJ 8 years ago about a cup for my 90• finder from the 70's... (HC-3/70)
They told me then they had "sold the last one that very day I called". Somehow I get along without it.... use in mainly for aerial photography... can't use a WL or 45 finder for that.

THe cup is very nice to have... but is made of unobtainium now.

I'll agree it's not really necessary, except for people who wear glasses with plastic lenses prone to scratch. (like me).
