But which side is the camera on?

Steve

It (or one like it) was once offered on eBay for way too much money.

Now it's € 950, US$ 1400 ...
If they would drop a zero, maybe. Just maybe.

The picture is (was?) from a classified ad and it was advertised at the price Q.G. mentioned (camera not included ;-) )
I think somebody who has the skill and rights tools for woodturning could easily do this by oneself. If you compare it to the size of the camera the game is too large to play it comfortable IMO.

When I saw the title, I thought that now they've started loading digital backs with video games

The pieces are not wood; they are lenses.

Steve

Sure? I doubt that they are real lenses. They are way too small to be real Hassy lenses and I doubt that they are funktional miniatures. Looking just like dummies made from plastic. But wood would be suitable to built your own game.

And the board isn't a board. It's a dark slide...

More, or rather a slightly better view Dead Link Removed.

So it has really small lenses or a really large darkslide. From post #1, it looks like the latter.

Steve

Sorry Steve, did not get your subtle irony the first time ;-)
Greetings, Benjamin

Not buying, the piece selection isn't accurate, the Queen must be the Biogon!:D

Cheers
