Hi,

Seeking fellow Hasselblad users about tricks and tips to tighten the B60 filters on CF lenses. I have been research if there is a way to stop some of my B60 filters coming too loose by lifting and moving the metal legs of the filter mount in order to create better fitting unfortunately does not work very well for me. Would someone have some good advice the right way to retighten B60 filters?

I have experienced that looseness and fixed mine. It was sufficiently long ago that the exact solution evades recollection but those “legs” are what get adjusted. Note that they can be moved in 4 directions: in, out, up, and down. Only one of those tightened the filter. I think it was “down”. What I remember the most is it was the last option I tried. Small changes… good luck.

EDIT: according to this person, the direction to adjust is “out”. His demonstration probably is better to trust than my memory.

I've always used "down" (towards the glass), but I'll have to try the "out" method to see if it last longer...

Great emphasis on "slightly". It is much better to repeat the slightly twist than to over do it. I personally us the "out' method, not the "down" method.

I also tried the “out” method but didn’t work very well for me either.

just try it out with gentle adjustments on a spare filter; one of these directions will work! Never understood why Hasselblad didn't just use filter threads like everyone else.

The original brass filters worked pretty well, quick on and off, and the tabs kept their springiness.

Pentax also used bayonet filters (But they could also use threaded filters).
