Hey,

I just bought a Kood air bulb shutter relase for my Hasselbad 500 C/M, and I find it nearly impossible to fire the shutter with it. I literally have to jump on it. Is this the correct behaviour? Any recommendations on a long shutter release cable?

Thanks

Pre-releasing the body may help.
I know one Hasselblad photographer who built a radio release, he does quite a lot of remote triggering with his.

Oh let me add that I don't use a Hassy. Maybe it's just a hassy thing.

I can only think of this: the plunger throw is not long enough to trigger the 'blad.
Always, always check the throw of any cable release or air release with the actual camera. Hasselblads (among many MF cameras) require a long throw release.
