I need to know which Sunpak TTL module to look for so I can connect my Sunpak 555 potato masher flash to my 553ELX. I've searched the web and have come up with nothing. I have an 553ELX on the way and would like to take advantage of the TTL feature of the ELX, but need a connector module/cord to do it. Anyone out there know which module I need for the Sunpak to Hasselblad system? I really don't think it's a module, but more like a double cord which would connect the body to the flash and a sync cord to the lens. JohnW

John, The HA-2D go on the bottom of a shoe-mount flash like the Sunpak 120J. I have a handle type flash like the 611 or 622 and that's nicknamed a "potato masher" flash that has just a rectangular multi-pin plugin and a plugin for a pc sync cord. These were "PRO" units so I'm sure Sunpak must have made a plugin TTL cord/adapter for them to fit a Blad with TTL. I was just hoping somebody might have used one and could tell me which to get.

This thread from p-net suggests it's the correct adapter but I sure as heck don't know from experience.
One response says the adapter plug into a flash bracket.

A little bit further it says a ext-11 cord is also needed, so that's two cords from the HA-2D plus an additional cord.

Good luck on your quest.

Yes, I ask this question over there also and now have the answer. It looks like a jury rigged/jerry rigged outfit, but it works. Looks like something I'd dream up, not Sunpak or Hasselblad.

I know this is a 3 year old thread, but if you happen to still need one or want an extra, here's your chance: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUNPAK-INTE...664103?hash=item1c4770e067:g:2n4AAOSwF1dUOFUn

I'm all set and my setup works just fine. Thanks for the link. Just because I don't need it doesn't mean somebody else out there isn't looking and this should help them.
