For sale is a Hasselblad 503CX with a 150mm f/4 T* CF lens, A24 6x6 film back and a waist level finder. The kit is in good user condition, the body has some normal cosmetic signs of use on the exterior and the leather is shrinking in a few places. The flash socket is missing its cap. The mechanics are in good condition, this was previously owned by a small studio which had their gear serviced regularly and everything is working great.
The lens is in similar condition, well used but working fine, the mechanics are good, shutter sounds good, the aperture clicks nicely and the focus is smooth and accurate. The glass is clean and clear except for one extremely fine cleaning mark on the rear element, only visible when looking at the lens at an angle under a harsh light source it will have no appreciable affect on your final image. The lens is missing its snap ring, a plastic ring which goes just behind the focus grip. This is purely cosmetic, has no affect on use whatsoever and a replacement can be purchased from Hasselblad if you'd like. The old ring which has a split will be included. Most of the distance scale markings on the focus ring are pretty worn and aren't that easy to read anymore.
The film back has some light wear from use but is in good shape, the light seal was just checked and the insert matches the shell.
The waist leven has some missing paint but functions well and the optic is clean. A standard acute matte screen with center cross hair is installed, it is clean and bright except for one extremely fine scratch in the bottom right corner which is not noticeable when shooting.
