Hasselblad 500ELX vs 1000F

I had an inopeative 1000F and finally got it semi-mostly working and the 2 Ektar lenses I had were wonderful. I even found a Zeiss 80 Tessar for comparison with the Ektar and the Zeiss sucked big time. I found a collector who wanted the 1000F and didn't care whether it worked or not and traded me a spiffy 500CM with Planar. Never looked back.

You might easily find a newer ELX like the 553. You have not said your price point, but generally speaking a newer camera might be better. O course condition is everything.
