For sale is a lovely 1961 Hasselblad 500C with a more modern 80mm f/2.8 T* multi coated lens, pop up waist level finder and a newer A12 film back. The camera is in good user condition. There's normal wear on the exterior from use, the leatherette is worn and there's a few light nicks and scratches here and there. Overall though it looks great for its age and the mechanics in the body are working perfectly.
The lens is in good shape, the glass is clean and clear with no visible marks or scratches. There may be a few minute specks of dust inside, common for any older lens and will have no appreciable affect on your image. The focus is smooth and the shutter and aperture are both working great.
The film back is a more modern automatic back and is slightly more worn than the camera. There's a ding in the front bottom right hand corner and some bumps on a few of the other edges. None of this will affect the performance of the back. Spacing has been checked and is good and the foam light seal was just replaced.
So, overall a great kit, well used perhaps but also well maintained and ready to continue its life taking marvelous photographs. Ships with dark slide and original lens cap.
