I have recently acquired a lovely Hasselblad 203FE with 80mm f2.8 FE lens. I should be grateful for any guidance on using the pre-release setting when the accessory electronic winder is attached. The instructions are clear on how to operate the pre-release safely with the manual winding crank, but nothing re using pre-release with the electronic winder. I have read some scary accounts of damage that can occur if one doesn't follow the correct procedure when using pre-release. Is it ok to use the electronic winder with pre-release, and if so is there any special procedure one needs to follow? Desperately don't want to damage this camera...
