Hi all, I have a pristine example of this camera hasselblad 201F bought new in 2000 still looks new even the tripod socket has no marks it has the later rollback +80f2.8+150f4 still has original box . Just wondering what i should ask for it as a complete kit. i just don't shoot this format any more , the smallest i shoot on film these days is 6x12 (This would be the cleanest secondhand Hasselblad i have ever seen !!) Any help would be appriciated , If it's worth it i will list on for sale section
I know ihave to be subcriber but i was going to do that anyway so thats cool . Cheers Gary

Then the 150mm is an F/2.8 not f/4, right?

Here is my guess. None have sold in the last month on eBay.

201F body - $1200
80mm F/2.8 FE $600
A12 $ 250
150 f/2/8 FE $800

I could be way off!

KEH.com has 201F EX+ listed at $850 with limited warranty, so I'd shoot for something lower than that (KEH EX+ means really really good). You can probably find prices for other parts, too. Good luck! (Would've thought about buying from you if I hadn't gotten a 2000FCW already).

Here are some more realistic numbers. I buy and sell a fair bit of Hasselblad gear on Ebay. I have a 201F and the 150/2.8.

201F $800ish
80/2.8 FE $500-600
150/2.8 FE $500-600
A12 $100-125

Those 80mm FE lenses are fairly uncommon. I'm tempted by that myself.

I would sell the 201F/80/A12 as one auction and the 150 separately.

Not to go astray, but I'm disappointed they don't make the FE 80 an F2.0 lens. That would be sick. I got my Norita, but. You know?

There is an 80 f/2 for Contax 645 but Im sure you are aware of that.

It also has autofocus... that could be a plus or minus depending.

Yes I'm somewhat of a fast-lens junkie, so I do know that. For better or for worse, there's a faster lens for the 645 format, which is the Mamiya 80/1.9. Much more affordable, and much more in my hands than the Contax :D There's also an 80/2 for Rolleiflex 6000 series, if I remember correctly.

I have a Norita as well. Love that 80/2. Really wonderful lens. I also have the 110/2 Planar FE for the Hasselblad. Also amazing. But this is all beside the point of this thread.

Hi Karl, My Guess was about $2200 the lot so i suppose i was not that far off , This example is in Outstanding!! condition and even has original camera box manual and even completed warenty card showing original date of purchase pristine is the best description , Thanks for your input . Cheers Gary
