I have another thread on that focusing debacle

It would appear that if you want accurate focus you need ground glass. Someone mentioned there's a special technique for focusing with the AM, namely making sure that the eye is focused on the display markings because it's possible for the eye to adjust and focus the image while the eye is not focused on the AM plane.

I'm torn for my next lens between the 100mm and the 180mm. I did love the 135mm in 35mm land for landscapes. Hilariously the 180mm CFE is cheap relative to the 100mm -- it would appear people are on to the sharpness.
