And I was wondering if it was worth a try...
I was looking for a new waist level finder, because the previous owner must have hit my current one hard or dragged the RB around on it. It seems easier to find a 180mm C Sekor in nice condition than getting hold of a waist level finder that does not look like run over by a truck... I now bought a broken RB67 to get the finder from it and the SD lock adapter. If the 127mm C Sekor is still working that comes with the set I am lucky.
Well the 180 is what I was looking for, and it took a while to find one. I wont get it for a couple weeks so I won't know if it was as good as advertised for a while. I also wanted to get an SD body but they are too expensive now...should have grabbed one a couple years ago but I had no money at the low point.
Well i finally jumped on a 180 C lens from Japan, now the fun of communication begins.
Me: I'm not home. please hold a week before shipping
him: no can do, ebay says must ship in 3 days
ok, go ahead and ship it
OK, I cancel and relist.
No, please ship it
OK, I undertand, I cancel
Please dont cancel
I understand, i contact you later.
Wow, and that was the easy part of the communication. Ebay notified me on Monday that the lens wasn't going to arrive until a month later than the posting indicated, and when I contacted the seller it really went downhill. He did not seem to understand a word I said and nothing he said made any sense. This could have ended very poorly, when the lens arrived on time and in nearly perfect condition, ending the contorted conversation on a high note.
