Has anyone with an Analyzer Pro checked their calibration step wedge values?

I was trying to get the values for my Calibration Step Wedge that's included with the Analyzer Pro and everything was going along great until I reached about step 17 when the reading went to "lo" which means "not enough light to get a reading."

The problem is, when I open up the aperture to get enough light to get to the end of the step wedge, the starting reading says "hi" in other words..."please stop down before starting test"

Has anyone else tried this and if so, am I missing something?

According to my manual the Analyzer Pro reads a maximum Dmax of 2.55 in densitometer mode, which translates to 8.5 stops. As your stepwedge has 20 steps, translating into 10 stops, this exactly translates to step 17 for the analyzer to exeed its reading capacity.
