Has anyone used this c-41 Fuji Neopan?

Yes, used it. Got some here in the UK. Maybe it was bad processing, because I only shot a couple of rolls, but the results were nowhere near as good as Ilford XP2 or Kodak BW400CN. I love Fujifilm's E6 range, and Acros 100, but I found the Neopan 400CN to give washed out results, and I never tried it again.

I will say that it could indeed have been bad processing, so maybe you'll want to try it out yourself.

I have used both the 35mm and 120 version of this film and I have to agree that it comes nowhere near the quality of the Ilford or Kodak. The Kodak has much smaller grain than the ilford but I found the Ilford much closer to what I use in the darkroom.

i got a few rolls of this in 120 and i actually like it.
prefer it over XP2. i found it gave better blacks, but i suppose it all comes down to processing.

I too have seen something to the effect that Ilford makes it but presumably and if this is true it is to the Fuji spec otherwise it is rebadged XP2+ and Ilford has said on this forum that it does not make its own products for others under their names

The Fuji 400CN is made by Ilford for Fuji BUT to their specs, so it is slightly different to XP2.

The Fuji 400CN is available in Japan and Europe (as far as I know) but not in the USA.

Anyone in the USA could buy it mail order from a European site but shipping would be high.
