Shooting mainly slide film this summer, so not wanting to commit to Flexicolor yet, or even Fuji Hunt. This is cheap and probably covers my summer needs for C-41. Has anyone tried it? Thanks.

Yes I am using this kit and so far everything works well. Before that I was using cinestill 2-bath, so for me Flic kit is an upgrade. 😀

My buddy did c41 much longer than me and very meticulous about his process, and he suggested me to go the separate bleach and fixer route.

Are you planning on cross processing the slide film in C-41 chemistry or is this a typo?

I use separate bleach & fix for all my color processing and don't have any complaints. Follow the instructions and rinse well.

Sorry, I can see your confusion from what I wrote.

No, planning to develop slide film in E-6. I'm mainly shooting slides, so I won't need a lot of c-41 for negatives. that's what I meant to say. Sorry.

I feel like everyone has already seen this video before, but here is a hands-on review of the FlicFilm C-41 kit if you care to watch.

Just be aware that Flic kit uses a Ferricyanide bleach which isn’t technically the “official” c41 bleach.
