We are now taking bookings via michelle.parr@harmantechnology.com

It is first come / first served : 50 Places : This tour is FREE of charge.

Please remember, if you have been on a tour before kindly make the space available this time for one of the ones who have not been so fortunate in the past. The best plans sometimes go awry so if you get a confirmed place and can no longer make it please let us know and we can fill the place from the reserve list.

You CANNOT book more than one space, if you wish to come with someone they must apply by e.mail in their own name.

It is your responsibility and cost to get to the Mobberley site on the day.

We will ensure everyone who is on the list gets all the information and instructions required.

LUNCH : A cold lunch will be provided, with some vedgetarian options, if you have any other dietry requirements please let us know when you book.

PHOTOGRAPHY : Please note photography can only be permitted in certain locations, photography is not allowed in any of the production areas of the factory.

MOBILE Phones and other connected devices : PLEASE Note you WILL, on occasions, be instructed to switch off these devices whilst in certain areas of the factory, it is a condition of acceptance of the booking that you agree to do so when instructed by HARMAN staff.

But I appreciate that first-timers should have the chance to enjoy a similar day, so I will follow the rules and not try to book again this time !

And when I've returned home, I'll say I meant PHOTO paper ...
I checked Easyjet and they even fly to Manchester from Amsterdam. Would be about € 100 for the return flight.

I've requested a place on the visit - although I have been once before.

For those who can possibly manage to get themselves there - do go - its fascinating.

During the visit you will quickly understand why Ilford have such a (deserved) reputation for quality and all their people are really friendly too.

The group I was with all asked loads of questions - and they were always fully answered - even if we didn't always fully understand

I received a email with all those details from Michelle Parr from Ilford only a couple of days ago. You might want to check with Michelle that you are on the list. Would be a shame to turn up and not be allowed in as your name isn't on the list.

A wonderful day out. We were made to feel most welcome from the very start to the very end. The Harman folk were all friendly, informative, helpful and imbued with genuine enthusiasm for their work. Having used ILFORD products for over fifty years it became clear why I have never, ever experienced a fault in any of them. This fantastic workforce just won't allow anything below standard to get by them! Long may ILFORD continue to develop and succeed in its markets. By the evidence we saw on the day everyone at ILFORD deserves nothing less. An especially big thank you is due to Michelle for arranging the day for us and another big thank you to those who let her do it. Well done all round!
