How well might it work for contact-printing from maskless colour negatives (Kodak 4111, Agfa X100)?

Its not available in cut sheet.

If they were scanned to monochrome they could be imaged down to this product via a laser device such as a Lightjet or Lambda.

Simon, I might have a source for one RC roll here in continental Europe, but would like to weigh its usefulness vs. its price. Are you suggesting it may not be suitable for darkroom use or perhaps for direct exposure in a large format camera, in place of film? The latter would require reversal processing, but contact printing, obviously, requires just regular B&W process.

Its not suitable for anything except laser exposure, its certainly not suitable for exposure in a LF camera.

I think you would risk wasting your money and I would not want you to do that.

I've used rolls of both the ilfospeed digital RC and fiberbased under an enlarger with excellent results. The speed is about the same as MG IV. You need to work in pitch darkness - no safelight. Contrast is approx. grade 3-1/2 to 4 ...
