Ed Buffaloe recommends hardening when using this film for negative enlargements in his article at unblinkingeye.com. Is the use of hardener really necessary? I seem to have found conflicting information on another thread here.

Also, I have a box of Kodak Rapid-Fix with two solutions A & B. I think the B is just a hardener. Solution A seems to mix up 1:2 but then you add the hardener. If I'm going to use this hardener (just by itself without the A solution) for the APH film how do I mix it up? 1:3 maybe?

Thanks,

Will
