Sold Hand rolled tech pan 120/220

Hello all!

I am planning on getting some 70mm techpan from @OrientPoint, and although I wasn’t planning on making/selling medium format, a couple of people have asked me about it. I said I’d see if there’s enough folks interested in it to justify me getting a second roll to split up for 120/220 shooters, so here I am.

I’m focused mostly on the Astrum buy currently, so I don’t know exactly what the timeline for this film would be, but It would probably get delivered around mid to late May, or at the same time as the Astrum order, depending on when exactly that shows up.

120: $8/roll
220: $15/roll

Looking to sell at least 25 rolls of 120 or 12 rolls of 220 before I commit to buying a second roll. If you want some, let me know.

Ok, so far folks have asked for 45 rolls of 120, so yes I will buy a roll to cut down to 120. Honestly I wasn’t expecting nearly this much interest, and, I think I should probably cap it here. I’ll send you guys PMs and start the ball rolling on this.

@MCB18 The 70mm rolls are 150ft, so you should be able to get about 50 rolls of 120 out of one, assuming minimal waste. Is that right?

Can I still get onboard? 25 rolls of 120.

56, to be exact, but yeah I’d never bank on getting exactly 56 out of a roll.

At the moment, this roll has been claimed, and actually you are 3rd in line for film if anyone chooses to drop out.

While I probably could get another roll, I have to draw the line somewhere. I am still in school and am managing another film buying project at the moment, and rolling paper backed rollfilm is pretty time and labor intensive. Honestly I wasn’t expecting to sell the entire roll, much less in just a day.

I’ve split up 150’ rolls before but that was over the course of a few months to be a year. Now I’ll be attempting to do it in about a month. While I do know it’s possible, it’s certainly not going to be easy.

If there is still a roll available over the summer, I might do this again, but I wouldn’t expect that.

FWIW I have _alot_ of this film. It all came from an astronomical observatory. If @MCB18 can't cut it for you, buy a roll and cut it yourself. Or shoot it in 70mm, as the Kodak gods intended. (That's what I do)
