I'm offering this 2 day workshop through the Vermont Center for Photography on March 9+10
Here's the link
Vcphoto.org
I've been doing this process now for almost 4 years and it certainly rivals any other process out there. Once the paper is coated no need for a darkroom since you u can use the sun or uv machine.

This is the most fun one could have. Creating your own emulsions is a blast and puts you; the photographer in the drivers seat. Why they decided to stop producing POP paper commercially is a question I can't answer but now you can do it for yourself!
I had to break the workshop into 2 days because we need one day make the emulsion and coat the paper. the second day is devoted to printing and toning so you get a feel for proper exposure and finals

Peter,

For planning purposes, could you tell me how long the class runs each day and what are the hours?

Do you have an info blurb for things like local accommodations, parking availability and such?

Sounds like fun, I am interested, but need more information.

Edit: Not trying to make work for you, but just the class times each day will be of much help. I can figure out the rest...

Thanks!

plenty of local motels in Brattleboro; Vermont is a vacation place!
Parking is available on the street right next to the VCP

I wanted to do this really bad, but a scheduling conflict popped-up last week.

Hope you do it again soon.
