Hairy thing on my Negative?

Hey guys,
I developed two rolls together last night of 35mm fp4+ and on one of the rolls I got this like clump of hairs that stretched across two frames diagonally. I only noticed this when I hung up the negatives to dry. This morning after they dried I carefully peeled off the clump of hair and it didnt seem to damage the information on the negative, it only left a mark. For what its worth, I roll my own canisters of film. Any help?

P.S. I tried to search this on google but with keywords like this I got some strange results.

Funny you mentioned it,just today found a clump of hair while developing some litho film.Wasn't mine,and to long for a mouse so flushed it down the drain.

It's either one of Jimi, Jim, or Janis' hair. I'll go with Jimi, but you make the choice.

This could turn ugly, asking about hairy things, and stretched out only two frames long.

Actually it could be any of Jimi, Jim or Janis's hair.

yeah, there are alot of unoriginal jokesters on this forum. It sure as hell isnt mine cause I have a buzz cut. Perhaps It came from my changing bag. Mike C, If this really did happen to you then I'd like to further explore to find out what the HECK happened. Thanks

I got rid of my changing bag when it started shedding. Its no fun pulling that crap out of a film can when you're done, not to mention having it embeded in the film emulsion.

The hair came from no-ware,as far as I could tell.Not the same color of my hair.I was developing Arista litho film and noticed the hair in the hypo clear tray.Must be a new form of contaminant developing over the year and now manifesting itself as clomps of hair,beware,don't let this happen to you.

Update,unidentifiable hairy substance further analyzed.Jimi,took the hairy substance out of trash can (did not flush down drain as stated earlier,put in trash can)took a close look and seemed to contain dark colored hair about 3/4" long and other smaller debris mixed in.thinking back to yesterday remembered dropping one sheet of film on dirty floor and throwing the film in the fixer to use as a clear spacer later on (wast not want not).Also have a dog that is starting to shed winter coat (what a mess she makes to) and even though the door stays closed to darkroom I must have picked up some of her shedding hair on my shoe and deposited it on the floor of the darkroom,after that Murphy took over and put it in my tray via the film I dropped on the floor. That is my most logical conclusion can think of,but still like the mutant contaminant theory.

jejeje thank you guys, especially Mike C. I'm pretty sure it was my changing bag which was a pretty cheap one, so more reason to point the finger at it.
