I need a few more items for it to be complete, but it's rapidly coming together.

I picked up this Multiscope bellows from ebay, modified a rear lens cap and the front standard to accept Mamiya 645 lenses (via a removable metal lensboard that locks in). The rear standard has a removable board as well, with four tiny screws. I'm going to cut off the rear standard's bottom clip for the track and put some kind of two-plate system on the back for shifting vertically and horizontally without extending the bellows past the minimum.

If it doesn't work on the 645 body, it should work on the Canon AE-1 35mm body, so at least I get to use all my cool new (old) Mamiya glass...

Here are some pictures:

Here's the unit:

And, of course, the teaser mock-up of the finished product (using a 2nd tripod instead of a support arm and no focal plane vertical or horizontal shifting mechanism, still waiting on body caps to modify for attachment to camera)...

I always wondered what a Rb67 would be like if it allowed for movements. This is one step closer. Good work!

the 645 lenses probably don't offer much room for movements (while staying sharp corner to corner) on 645 film since they weren't designed for that. I guess you'll find out.

What size large format lens would work well with the 645 negative? i might get a cheap one to try it out... The 645 is pretty nice so far, though I can't get the DoF preview lever to do anything, even with the lens set for "M". I'm making a steadicam attachment that will let me support the camera and control the front standard simultaneously with the left handgrip and will allow for portrait camera position as well. Should make for fun tinkering.
