So, I was feeling pretty bored with photography, not finding much to be interested in and I decided I'd take a look at Guillaume's website. I hadn't visited for a while and there is quite a bit of new stuff. The B&W scrap metal series is unreal. I hate myself for feeling this way, but I just want to copy this stuff. And I have had this feeling from his work before. Some of the prints look like liths that are solarized. Perhaps it's just the light. Anyway, great work Guillaume.

Zuili is an alien photo god from hitherland sent to us as a gift so that we might know what is possible if we would only open up our eyes and see.

since discovering guillaume and his lith portraits from india about 5 years ago, i have never been the same..or i should say my photography has never been the same. he has taught me the basics of lith printing and has been a constant source of support and help as i have struggled to improve my lith printing skills. he has encouraged me to see things in a different way and because of that i have grown by leaps and bounds (at least i think i have!) his work never ceases to amaze and inspire...in my eyes, he is a genius!

As an official representative of the CIAs clandestine "alien branch", I must insist and forbid all of you in pointing out Mr. Zulli's origins. Please believe it when he states "I am from France". For your own good. Really. I'm not kidding. Edible comestibles anyone?

Monsieur Zuilli is a gentleman, because he did not forget to put my name as translator (FR->EN) for the section called LA Fragments, at the bottom of:

Guillaume has helped me a lot over the years. Super nice guy, and obviously an extremely talented and productive photographer.

I am always in awe of his accomplishments.
