I have a Kodak Master 8x10 for which I would like to get a ground glass,. Right now, the camera has the original glass on it but I am worried about damaging it in some way that would detract from the overall value of the camera. I have been out of commission for a while and feel a little bit clumsy. I would like to get my skills back on this camera with worrying about damaging it.

Call me neurotic.

How about grinding one yourself? It'll work OK. Won't be a super high-grade, but for practicing your skills until you get your agility back, it'll be more than adequate.

Back in 2008 when I rebuilt my Century 8x10, I got a ground glass off e-bay. As I recall it was not very expensive. It has clipped corners, but no lines or fresnel.

However, how about a plastic one? I have my eyes on those Yanke plastic ones with the built-in fresnel and grid lines for my Shen-Hao.
