Looking for some type of grip w/shutter release which will attach to the bottom of the body via the tripod mount. I already looked at a Hasselblad type which will not work. It needs to be flat on the bottom and extend out about 4" from the centerline. Hopefully someone out there knows of something which will work, otherwise I'll just go to a machine shop and have one made.

I'd look at the Stratos brackets.

Here is my solution to the hand grip problem. I ordered a Stratos grip from B&H. I sawed off the arm for the flash attachment and then attached the shutter release with a tie wrap. Crude but effective. I apologise for the picture quality as I really don't have any good macro equipment or lighting.
