Thank you Whiteymorange, that is a good question, and perhaps as you say balance is the key. A good painter is familiar with their materials of canvas, brush and paint for instance and having that confidence is free to create.

Wille Jan thank you for your thoughts, indeed, a good photograph is more than clicking a button, and our approach should be grounded and motivated to ensure inward focus. Sometimes, however, it is a simple action, of serendipity as a moment collides with technique and is captured on film.
