Hello everyone
My name is Philippe and I live in the French Alps, isolated in high mountains (Massif de l'Oisans)
I have been analog camera repair for 40 years.
I love my job and exchange knowledge with other photography enthusiasts.
I am also on Facebook where I present my activities and my workshop; I also participate in several cusing groups on FB.
I am actively engaged in the exchange, sharing, quality of life and sensitive human relationships and rewarding ... and I try to promote a healthy and enjoyable vision of our passage course on this fragile planet

This is where I live:

And here is my workshop:

Welcome to Apug!

What do you use your microscope for in your workshop?
I so far found my headloupe or my extra loupe sufficient for repair work.

(Yes, I got microscopes too.)

Welcome to Photrio. Do you have a place we can enjoy seeing your photos? With all that equipment how do you check the shutter speed of mechanical cameras that are located in the lenses like Mamiya RB67s and large format lenses?

Likely the only way for Philippe to get out of this now is telling us about his lawn mower...

Bienvenue! Mais la planète n'est pas aussi fragile que vous le pensez.

Thank you for the welcoming.
The microscope is to see tiny cracks on PCBs with SMT components

Bienvenue!

At the altitude where I live, there is no impression that pollution exists.
However, some high mountain lakes are polluted with microscopic plastic particles that are carried away by sea winds and high altitude storm clouds...

Can you tell us about the instruments below your oscilloscope? I can only guess.

For medium format I use two other shutter control devices, much more compact and modern than the Kyoritsu EF-8000.
You can follow me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PhRaybaudi
or on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/philipperaybaudi/
and see the photo gallery on my website.
But I'm not looking for publicity; I have three to four months of delays on average at the workshop. I have to refuse 90% of requests.
I collaborate a lot with other repair shops depending on the country where the customer is located and depending on the devices that I still repair.

---
My favorite place to see the moon rise over La Meije. Indeed the photo was taken on the set
I can see the Emparis plateau from my windows: The Pic de la Meije and the glaciers as well. I am due south, on the other side of the Romanche valley opposite the resort of Les 2 Alpes.

Welcome to Photrio from Western Canada. Love your view of the mountains. I have a 60 minute drive for something the same
