after having followed the discussions here for several years, I have just registered to be able to actively take part in this great community.
I am based in a small town called Bergisch Gladbach which is located near Cologne in Germany. I am taking pictures with my own cameras for about 40 years now. Learned photography in an apprenticeship in the 90s and been a pro photographer since then. Most of the time I worked freelance but for a couple of years I worked in Switzerland for a medical company. They research methods for healing fractures with nails, screws and plates and I did a lot of photography in the OR for them.
After my switch to digital in the early 2000s I came back to enjoy analog photography some years later and now I shoot a lot of personal projects with analog stuff (35mm and 120). I use Canon FD equipment (F1 and A1 with a bunch of FD lenses), Hasselblad (503cx) and Fujica 645. I develop b/w films at home, mostly with Caffenol Delta. I do not develop color myself as I seldom use these type of films, nor do I print at home.
