Hey APUG community,

I'm Norbert from Linz/Austria. I'm in my mid thirties, father of twin boys and head of the corporate communications team at an Austrian industrial company.

My father was a passionate photographer when he was young and he passed that spirit on to me. I bought a Nikon DSLR a few years ago and became addicted. I shoot digital with my D800 now, but I've developed a passion for the analog world. I've been a hybrid collector/analog photographer for almost two years now. During that time i shot maybe ten rolls of film and bought five analog cameras ... :whistling: the Nikon F, F2, F3 and F4 and a Hasselblad 553ELX. My next targets: a Nikon F5 and a non-motorized Hasselblad (500 C/M or 503CX). :outlaw:

I installed a darkroom in our guest bathroom (which is seldom used) and develop my pictures myself. I'm still a beginner, trying to find the films that suit me most and learning how to get the process right. I'm satisfied with what I've achieved so far, but dust, water marks and the such still bother me.

Regards

Norbert

Let me be the first to welcome you to APUG.

You are obviously someone of superior intellect because you own and use Hasselblads. :D

Welcome to the Forum Norbert. I have spent many happy holidays in Austria, almost every year since 2002 motorcycling around the area mainly in the west Innsbruck to Lienz and over the Grossglockner. A truly beautiful place. I have also found a few really quiet places, just off the tourist trail where the road starts in Germany but crosses into Austria but there is no way out. They are magical! So quiet and no traffic.
