Greatest artwork by an artist

What do you consider the greatest artwork by an artist you have ever seen? For me it has to be a self-portrait by Van Gogh.

My current favorite: Venus and the Three Graces Presenting Gifts to a Young Woman, a fresco painting by the Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli of circa 1483-1486. It is displayed at the Louvre. I have a photo of a section of the fresco as the background on my laptop. It inspires me every day.

That Van Gogh guy's not bad. Not bad at all.

J.M.W Turner's later works. He was ahead of his time and the work is amazing. I really do enjoy Van Gogh's work as well.

What do you consider the greatest artwork by an artist you have ever seen? For me it has to be a self-portrait by Van Gogh.

Rembrandt's self-portraits as an old man. Those are the eyes of someone who knows his end is more than a rumor.

For me biggest positive shocking experience was visit of Picasso museum in Vienna.
