Great video??? As Ted Forbes says, the internet is not ideal for viewing fine photography, and he certainly demonstrates this with poorly presented images. He also belittles books as an indication of what fine prints are really like. I compared 26 prints in a major Adams exhibit with the reproductions in Ansel Adams: Classic Images, and found the book conveyed much more of the feeling of the originals than does this video. The pacing of the images was erratic, with over four minutes of an uninspiring portrait of Maynard Dixon. Claiming Ansel Adams, and to some extent Vivian Maier, as the household icons in photography must be intended as hyperbole.
