Also selling a rare Nikon F2 Photomic body in pristine condition in black equipped with the original DP-1 metering finder (working great) and 3 super clean non-AI ("rabbit ear" manual aperture indexing) lenses:
THE LENSES
- a 35mm F2.8 Nikkor-S lens: sharp, like new, no surface marks whatsoever on front and back elements, smooth aperture clicks, no internal dust, immaculate paint and colour aperture markings (min aperture F16)
- a rare 55mm F2.8 Micro-Nikkor lens enabling you to make high resolution close-ups while remaining a wonderful all-around lens: same as 55mm, mint condition, no barrel scuff marks, clean glass surfaces front & back with a tiny bit of internal dust that doesn't affect picture quality (min aperture F32)
- a 200mm F4.0 Nikkor-Q telephoto lens for wildlife shots or distant portraits: same like new condition as 35mm, immaculate barrel paint and colour aperture markings, pristine front and rear glass elements with no marks/scratches at all, no dust, smooth and firm aperture clicks (min aperture F32)
All lenses are of the same generation as the F2 camera and feature Nikon's F mount. The 3 lenses mount perfectly on the body and all have the appropriate aperture coupling prong/fork to tell the light-meter contained in the DP-1 viewfinder what their maximum aperture is for accurate light measurements.
THE F2 PHOTOMIC BODY
This F2 is plain pretty with shiny black leatherette and excellent condition black paint: only the slight edge brassing at the top and bottom betray its age! Same for the DP-1 prism/finder, which displays moderate brassing also at its edges. Mechanically this F2 is in top shape with accurate shutter speeds even at low speeds. Back is light tights with clean seals: please note I couldn't provide an inside body shot as there's still film currently in the F2 (can provide later once I finish this last roll). Frame counter works perfectly, as does the depth-of-field review button, timer, lens release button, and of course shutter release button. Shutter speeds range from 1 second down to 1/2000th of a second, all mechanical: no batteries are required to operate this camera! Only the light-meter required two small 1.5v batteries, that actually last a very long time. B setting also available on the time, as well as a Time setting (up to 10 timed seconds) and shutter lock position to avoid accidentally firing a shot. Rewind knob works perfectly as does frame cranking. This F2 can be your next shooter for many years!
THE EXTRAS
I'm including the following as free extras for the purchase of the F2 and its 3 lenses:
- 52mm diameter Tiffen Soft Focus filter that fits on ALL 3 lenses (all lenses have the same 52mm diameter): like new, great for genuine looking, diffused focus portraits
- Nikon body cap
- Back & front lens caps for each lens
- Tough, great looking vintage black leather & cotton strap with nikon strap lugs
- 1 expired (fridge kept) 36-exp roll of Fujifilm Provia 100 F colour slide film
- Pair of fresh 1.55v Energizer silver oxide button batteries for the DP-1 light-meter
Asking $400 to everything. Firm on price as this is a rare set that I still love very much and will not undersell. Many more pics of the lenses, body and finder are available on request.
