David Burnett is one of my favourite photographers of all time. A true craftsman and superlative story teller.

Here is the link for Part One of a two part interview.

One of the nice things is he still uses film when it suits the story line.

Once you go to this page you will see the link for part 2 as well.

Thanks. Totally agree. I enjoy David Burnett's photography and his presentations that I've seen online.

Isn't he the guy that "killed" most Other/Younger photographers, at The (recent) Olympics, while shooting film and also using a Speed Graphic as well.?

Yes, he uses the speed graphics, with movements, on the fly...

Right.....the Contact Press guy.
What a career. What an interesting (and seemingly decent) guy.
I remember as a teenager, in the Early/Mid 1970's they did a great series about "Cowboys".....the last round-up or something like that.
It was THAT job that made me fist take real notice of photography, and horse, and what tough dudes cowboys were.
Mr. Burnett has "quietly" racked up an amazing portfolio. He has managed to stick a lens in a Million Different scenarios over the years.
