In a previous thread I mentioned a video tape titled "Roots of California Photography, The Monterey Legacy". I thought it was worth mentioning it again with a bit more information. The tape(or dvd) is produced by the Monterey Museum of Art in association with UC. The film is narrated by Jack Lemmon and very well done (IMO). Some of the people included are AA, Edward, Cole, Brett, Kim Weston, Henry Gilpin, Richard Garrod, Hunt Witherill, John Sexton, Morley Baer, Francis Baer, Charis Weston, Maggi Weston, Wynn Bullock, Edna Bullock, Al Weber and Robert Byers. Probably have forgot a few but you get the idea. A nice history lesson for those of us who enjoy photography. I just checked and it is available from Photo Eye in Santa Fe.

It's also available through the Weston Gallery in Carmel California. I agree it is a great DVD! Not that expensive either.
