You know, I'd like to say first that I tried, and in no way could I make the title of this thread not sound dirty....

Anyway...I have a Manfrotto ballhead that use with my LF equipment (and all my equipment really), and they grease on the head is a bit old. When the head sits for a while, it takes a good knock to loosen it.

Any cures for this? I think more grease would help, but what kind?

I'd probably try to clean out the old grease with naphtha and replace it with a white lithium grease.

I would use a graphite grease, not the normal grease, grease...lol..dont know how else to say it.

As David said, clean it up and recoat it with graphite grease, it should not stick like this.
