Around 2017, I came across an interesting article by Eric Chan about Gray Curves For Epson ABW Printing. Looking at the formula he published on his website got me intrigued and after trying some of the curves, I was very impressed with the outcome. In the article, Eric mentioned that he made a small program to do the number crunching of the math but as far as I could tell, he never published that anywhere.
I decided that I wanted to keep this going so I decided to study the formulas which Eric had published
Well to fast forward several years, and after constructing many different spreadsheets to do the number crunching, I have finally bundled everything up into a single Photoshop UXP plugin eliminating the need for any spreadsheets.
So far I have received some positive feedback not only on the results but also from the intuitive design and ease of use of the plugin.
