I picked up a used Graphic View the model 1 I believe. The front standard was binding ,So I took it apart ,it is a very simple mechanism, and repositioned what looks like emery paper under the guide the standard rides on .Replace everything but the lock does not really tighten down enough to prevent creep on the front standard .The repair manual show that all the parts are there and assembled correctly but not a clue as to how tighten the focus lock. The simple solution of course is to run the front standard out to the end of the rail and focus with the back standard, which I normally do anyway.. But if any one has any experience with that lock mechanism I would appreciate any information .
