Graphic film pack adapter

I rtecently found that I had a Graphic film pack adapter. Its looks to be in good shape. I'm just not sure of its' use. Do you put individual sheets of 4x5 film in it or is there some sort of film pack that's not made any longer.

Unfortunately, they are for film packs which are not made anymore.
