Hello all,
Would anyone have a copy of the manual for the GraLab 525 timer that you would consider sharing?
Thanks in advance.
Todd

I bought one of these timers new and there was no instruction book in the box. A short study of the settings is all that I found necessary before about 20 years of satisfactory service. The buttons are well named and rather self explanatory.

What specifically do you need to know? There are two memories to switch between, set either or both, use memory one for one application, then switch to two for another. The red button starts the count down. The time increment buttons are self explanatory, as is the clear. Set the "enlarger" switch to the middle time setting, set the time then push red button for enlarging. Set switch to far right for focusing and alignment, then back to the left one notch when ready to make a print. Set the "safelight" switch to on to leave it on, set to mid "time" and it stays on until you start enlarging, then it goes off until timer runs down to zero. Metro/warn switch sets sound, ticking count down, no ticking, bell at end of cycle, or nothing at all.

Rick and Jim and anyone else who has the GraLab 525:
1) With the safelight slide switch set to "Inverse Time" (the far right poistion) & Enlarger switch on Time, Mode on Single, Memory 1 @ 3 seconds - what does your timer do?
With that set up I would expect the safelight to go off, come on during timing and go off once the timing has finished.
In my case the safelight is off and stays off during the timing and remains off after the timing.

Thanks

Todd

Mine does what yours does. I leave my safe light switch on the second position. It leaves the safe light on until you make the exposure, it goes off then comes back on at the end of the cycle.
