Is it possible to mount a graflok back onto my Graphic View II? I have a PA-45 instant film holder that won't fit under the graflex back.
I have a spare graflok back but it appears much bigger than the back currently on the Graphic View.
Somewhere I saw a discussion of this but can't find it or remember exactly what it said.
Thanks,
Tom

Graflex made a Graflok for the View II. I believe they made the View II with a regular back or the Graflok. I found a new Graflok factory conversion kit for the View II many years ago and it was a perfect fit to replace the regular back.

You should be able to make one if you have a Graflok back to use.

There is a guy in your area, Woody's Camera I believe, you might check with him.

Lots of good info here:
http://graflex.org/speed-graphic/where-to-get.html
Another option for using your PA 45 would be to put a few small washers under the spring screws to give you more room for the holder. I used this method on an old speed graphic with the spring back.
The only down side is that regular 4x5 holders will fit very loosely with the reduced spring pressure.
