I love Graciela's work and had a chance to see her exhibition at Fondation Cartier a year ago. Funny that at the time I couldn't quite appreciate her newish color work on rocks, but they've grown on me over time.

One thing that bothers me is that every interview (I've watched everything I can find) always focuses on the same topics (Alvarez Bravo, the lady of the Iguana, the Seris) and we never get to hear more from her. I wonder how all of that works....She's said that only about 5% of her photographs have been shown, I'd die to see more! (I was happy to see new-to-me photos of her sacrifice series in this video)

Do you have her latest book 'Heliotropo 37'? It contains a good selection of her photographs, some of which I hadn't seen elsewhere.

I have it right here on my coffee table. Some of those photos were new to me too. So much beauty and tenderness in such darkness...
