I am selling a very fine Jena B 2/58 for Exakta. This lens is actually a Zeiss Biotar produced by what was then known as Zeiss Jena in the former East Germany (by the early 1960's Zeiss east was not allowed to export this to the West under the Biotar name due to trademark disputes). This lens is in excellent condition optically and mechanically, with clean, clear, scratch-free, fungus-free, separation-free glass and no internal oil. It has a preset iris mechanism that allows one to cock the iris open before exposure whereby it snaps to the closed position upon depressing the shutter - the iris action is snappy and correct.
The Biotar is one of the best primes ever made and it will not disappoint you.
Sold as shown with substitute front lens cap.
Price: $125 plus insured shipping.
