Hello everyone in the land of film, i have been put on to this site from a astronomy forum. It is a well received, and even better to see so many like minded people.

I was thinking i was on my own, with many of the folks with digi's, and i was the odd one. It is a real eye opener and with a great range of topics on board.
Some of the pictures i have had a look at are work of art.

One input on the forum was a nice thing, is to see names that we know, Roger Hicks, i have a few of his books and follow his page in the mags, and the lady from the B&W mag, her name escapes me at the mo, Alisa or something like.
I should have made sure how to spell her name first.
Will be missed by me and many others on this forum, from what i have read.

Any way a bit about me, photography started at the age of 14, 34 years give or take a month or two. 35mm slr, 35mm R/F, and a M/F 645 Brony.
Have my own darkroom and many hours spent in the dark, and thought as said above, i did not think there was anyone out there interested in looking at
B/W prints, dare i say was thinking about going digi, i swear!!!
but the thought only lasted about a second..

Nice to be here...

Graham:smile:

Welcome Graham from another from Middle England. We're a bit like moles - there plenty of us about, it's just that we are usually hidden in our own dark tunnels!

Hi there. Lots of us in the UK knocking about here Graham. The time differences mean there is someone around pretty much 24 hours - and in the case of the Antipodes, it is often tomorrow already ...

Have fun, Bob.

Thankyou all for your wellcomes, very unexpected for the amount to come forward, 24 hours, i find my life is in the dark,
work nights and sleep in the day, or in the dark.......room. Time lag is it morning here or there, where does the Sun come up first
wins.
