I'm looking for an E-6 lab to do mail order processing somewhere in the mid-atlantic. I have found a lab in Allentown, PA but $12 a roll for 120 E-6 is just too much. Something around $6-9 would be great.

Thanks!

There's also Colourworks, in Wilmington DE at $6.25/roll. I haven't used them yet, so I can't say anything about quality.

I have a friend that's developing E-6 with them and recommends them as well. I haven't quite gotten up to sending them anything since I stopped doing my own E-6, but they'll be my first choice when I start E-6 again...

I have used Colourworks for 70mm C-41 developing, and they were excellent. I have had E-6 done at Philadelphia Photographics, and they have top-quality processing as well. $7.00 a roll is not bad either.

I once applied for a job at L'Imagerie when they were still out in Beltsville. It is run by a rather odd Frenchman with a really heavy Inspector Clousseau accent and a waxed handlebar mustache. I don't know about their quality control - it's been 17 years since I was in there. I just remember the Frenchman.

Philadelphia Photographics used to be fantastic for 120. Around mid-2010, their handling of the film became somewhat haphazard; I lost a couple half-frames at the front of rolls (obviously exposed to light during their development process). I stopped using and recommending them.

Hopefully that was a temporary problem and it's been fixed; I'm just about to give them another try. They're damned conveniently located for me.
