Hi Everyone, well, this is my second Sears KSX Super body that broke. I was in Seattle at frame 16, and the advance felt tight and abruptly would no longer advance the film. I freed the mechanism twice by using a coin to turn the motor shaft on the bottom, but now it is frozen totally. I removed the film and reinstalled it in my Leica M2 (which does not break....).

Clean KSX body, nice shutter and accurate meter. It's a pity that the electronics appear to last on these cameras, but the mechanics fail. If fully working, I think these are decent cameras.

Free, but a minor postage charge is always welcome. Body only; I will keep the strap and 50mm lens. USA shipping only.

Is this a Pentax-made camera that was sold by Sears?
Ricoh made this and other 1980s models for Sears & Roebuck. They were almost identical to Ricoh models but had cosmetic changes.

UPDATE: I ordered another KSX Super from an eBay seller. Let's see if this one proves to be more durable. There are 10s of them listed, and always "untested."
