Gold leaf on pinhole cameras!

It's been a few years since I looked at Steve's site. He takes DIY home built cameras to a whole different place.

An artist and a master craftsman . . . I harbor a special loathing for such people.

These would be a real treat to see up close. I can't imagine what it takes to go from the concept to a paper negative . . .obviously a labor of love.

Hmm -- I've seen some of those before, and it so happens I also dabble in the ceramic arts at my local community college. I could probably come up with some sort of ceramic box that takes pictures, but alas, I'm not sure I have enough years left to achieve that level of craftsmanship! :confused:
