Simply the cleanest example of a 110 year old lens and shutter I've ever seen.

Plastigmat was Bausch & Lombs own sort of a Dagor clone. They added a 4rth glass and called it their own design, thus not having to pay Royalties to Zeiss like they did on the Protar's.

The cells are symmetrical and equal. Double aperture scales as it is convertible. Aperture is US system. Focal length is about 165mm. Wide open was f6.3! Faster than Dagor and equal to a symmetrical Protar combo.

The shutter is working and usable. No, this isn't really mint, but it is like something that lay in a drawer in a heated building somewhere for 100 years and never got used very much. Flange is there. It's ready to be displayed and/or used. I think it's worth $325.00 + shipping. Own the best example of this historic shutter on earth!

WOW!
It looks like it came right from the Nautilus.
