Does anyone know where you can buy small quantities of Gold Chloride to make toner? I have the recipe from Tim Rudman's book but the websites for Silverprint and Retro dont list it.

Photographer's Formulary is the place. They've a huge
assortment of photographic chemicals and small quantities
are where they surpass the competition. Of course large
quantities as well.

BTW, have you checked out Nelson's Gold Toner? Fantastic
milage from very little gold. Dan

It's been about $30 a gram for a long time. It won't get any cheaper.

It's really expensive right now, because the price of gold is high.

I've seen $35/g recently.

You might try mostlymetals.com. He tries to order in bulk and passes on the savings.

Couldn't find one, but there are some using lead and using uranium if toxicity is your game.
